Ciara Moules
Ciara Moules has been training as a dancer since the age of 3. She is professionally trained in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and musical theatre. She is a graduate of the Enriched Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood Collegiate Institute majoring in dance and drama with a minor in vocals. She has trained at Bojangles Art of Dance, Emotion Dance Company, District Dance, and Ryerson University. Ciara has also trained for several years with vocal coach, Amie Debrone. She has performed in many shows such as Bye Bye Birdie, Grease, SHREK the Musical (KWMP), Peter Pan (Drayton Entertainment), and Giselle (Quinte School of Ballet). Ciara is also a cast member of Enchanted Entertainment performing as several different princesses and teaches dance for the City of Kitchener. Ciara was one of Arcady’s 2017/2018 Emerging Artists.
Valerie Durant
Valerie Durant has been dancing since the age of 3 and enjoys many different forms of dance. Most of her formal dance training has been in classical ballet under the direction of Michele Hopkins. She enrolled in the Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, with an emphasis in dance, drama and vocal music. Valerie has completed her Intermediate Classical Ballet Examination with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. For the past 9 years, she has performed various roles in the production of The Nutcracker with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, including Maid, Candy Cane, Russian, Chinese, Arabian, Bon Bons, Snow Flake and Waltz of the Flowers. She truly loves musical theatre and enjoyed the opportunity to attend the musical theatre program at the Shakespeare School in Stratford. Valerie was one of Arcady’s 2016/2017 Emerging Artists and has been involved in many Arcady productions since.
